IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is one of the world's largest examination systems for 14 to 16 years old, and its results are recognised in English-speaking countries and regions. Every year, tens of millions of students worldwide study IGCSE.
A Level (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) is one of the most mature and well-developed high school curriculum systems in the world, and is used by almost all English-teaching universities as the admission criteria.
IGCSE and A Level have been developed carefully to support all learners and to provide access pathways to the very best universities worldwide. SJCC has adapted the British curriculum to offer even greater challenge and depth to our learners, providing a sound basis for application to top universities all over the world.

5.My child's English is not so good, how can he/she learn if you teach in English?
At St John's College Changchun we appreciate the cultural diversity that non-native English speakers bring to our community. Applicants who speak languages other than English should be able to demonstrate age-appropriate academic proficiency in their native tongue. Our admissions team may request that students be assessed on their ability to handle the academic challenges of English before an admissions decision is made.
